baybeats & wala wala
a lazy Saturday afternoon to begin with. i was basically asleep throughout the whole nite and only managed to pull myself out of bed at nearly 2pm the next day. whoahh!! what a lazy bum i have turned myself into. but, thinking back, working till the late hours and not getting sleep..waking up at 2pm once in a while wasnt that bad of an idea wasnt it? heheh.. afterall, its saturday..and having body aches overcoming me, i was indeed, in need of a good rest.
went to check out baybeats at the esplanade later in the evening. erm..not that interesting compared to last year which was way, way better. too many young people (YPs - and yes, they do make me feel old!!) and definitely not worth the stay. dah macam tempat carik jodoh *read* 'bazaar geylang'..khehe! but lucky us, we managed to view the spectacular fire works right above our heads..walah~

headed off for a chillin session at wala wala cafe to catch a live performance from 'the unexpected'..as usual, they were truly entertaining. most of us were basically singing and moving our body throughout the night. fabulous!!

i was there to give support to the organiser who happens to be darling dikir barat team-mates. at the same time taking the opportunity to catch up with long-time-no-see frens. the event ended up a success, thoe i dint get to watch the performances by the competing teams. still, good luck to the winners.

was browsing thru a particular blog when sumting caught my attention. it was dissapointing enuff to noe how narrow minded one can be and how unpredictable people can potray themselve. but who are we to judge. they have their own rites to think and say what they wanna say. one thing for sure, there's no stopping them. people around can just 'sigh' or shake their head. oh well, as long as they are happy..its best for us to ignore their opinion..
